Over the years I have found that regardless of where a fan is permanently mounted it will be in the way of something else and will usually be able to direct a cooling breeze everywhere but where you happen to be when you need it so you gotta move the thing anyway for it to be of any use. The only way around this is to not permanently mount a fan at all. I have two fans, both with a "clamp mount". They can be put pretty much anywhere we please to accomidate whatever we are doing at the time. As to brand names I have no specific recommendations.

I need suggestions from those who have non A/C Vanagons on where to mount accessory fans and what brands work best. It's getting a little warm here in NM. Thanks, Ken Hunter 82 Westy 1.9D 84 Jetta w/motor out 89 Mitsubishi van 79 Rabbit 1.5D (donor)
