Subject: Virus alert ...
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

I know that some of you think this is not the place por this kind of warning but... i do.

Here is the warning that we got this morning from the computer department in my company, i hope this can save some of you some problems...: TO ALL USERS:

THERE SEEMS TO BE A NEW VIRUS MAKING THE ROUNDS THAT HAS THE SAME EFFECT IF NOT WORSE THAN THE "I LOVE YOU" VIRUS. UNFORTUNATELY NOONE HAS ISSUED THE NAME OF THE VIRUS YET, BUT APPARENTLY IT CAN CHANGE NAMES ONCE IT REACHES YOUR IN BOX.

FOR EXAMPLE: IT CAN SHOW THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM YOURSELF. IF YOU NOTICE THAT YOU HAVE AN E-MAIL WITH A ".VBS" EXTENSION ON YOUR ATTACHMENT....DO NOT OPEN IT! CALL THE HELP DESK AND THEY WILL INSTRUCT YOU ON WHAT TO DO.

DO NOT OPEN ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT SURE OF AS THIS VIRUS COULD SHUT DOWN OUR SYSTEMS.

THANK YOU, JOERG
