I started personal carry, in the few instances I felt it was warrented, when two drifters came through town and sodomized and murdered a local citizen in the public park across the street from my home, then took his remains up on the mountain and half burried it.

Two months later, a car idled up to the neighbors and tried to get their two pre-school girls into the car with candy and such. When dad got home, he got his Colt .45, came over an told me what happened. I got my firearm and sat on his home to insure the safety of his blood 'cause he didn't trust himself not to shoot anybody that remotely looked like the perps.

This is reponsible action insuring liberty of the community. We were a militia of two. We formed at the instant of need, and only could have done so 'cause we both take our responsibilities as citizens seriously. The people are responsible for liberty. And it is done with arms. That's what the second amendment says.
