I can't believe all you folks up north whining about summer heat. In Phoenix, if you don't have half-inch thick calluses in your hands, you'll get blisters for sure from contact with the steering wheel (Don't ever drive an old Pinto while wearing shorts down here). <g>

Anyway, one of the news stations here did a test on several cars with and without window tinting. They found that there was not a significant difference in interior temperatures after the cars had been standing for several hours on a rooftop garage in 110+ degree heat. However, mine are tinted and I'm glad of it. IF nothing else, there is a psychological edge to the interior being darker, and the UV protection makes a difference in how well the interior holds up.
