You get a bastard, a Frankenstein of cars. In the Sharan lineup, all engines are VW (1,9 TDI 90 or 110 hp, 2,0 gas 115 hp, 1,8T 150 hp or 2,8 VR6 174 hp) In the Galaxy lineup, the TDIs and the VR6 are VW engines, the fours are replaced by Ford units, wither a 2,0 with 115 hp (alternative to the VW 2,0) or a 2,3 with 150 hp (alternative to the 1,8T). I haven't heard of many reliability problems, but these cars are not too popular in Norway anyway. PerL |
