I installed a power antenna in my 1988 Westy. It was relatively easy, but did require some modification of the body behind the headlight to accommodate the width of the motor unit. (I have a photo of this if anyone is interested.) I got helpful info and the lead on antenna world from Joel Walker aka 'Uncle Joel'. Here is the web link that describes what to do. http://silverstone.fortunecity.com/jaguar/270/joel.htm#antenna One trick I would add. In order to make the antenna wire routing as easy as possible, I got an antenna extension cable from Radio shack, and taped one end to the end of the old (non-electric) antenna at the radio. Then when I pulled the antenna wire out with the old antenna, it pulled along the extension cable that I then attached to the new antenna. Easier than pulling out the old wire and then routing the new one. Todd '88 Westy
