Last week I went for my emissions test, (manditory here in "Crook" Co. IL.) and failed it hands down, no problem. So, having a new front pipe and the collector pipe laying around for awhile, I changed them, along with a new oxy. sensor, as long as I was there. Went back the next day, and again I flunked with colors! Now being a little "POed" I went to the local FLAPS an purchased 5 bottles of "HEET" and dumped them in my tank, went for a high-end run down the tollway, to get it as hot as I could, and went to the inspection station and Bingo! It passed with flying colors! I knew this would work- have done it before, but I tryed to slip through, without using any Vitamin A. The best part of the whole deal was, it forced me to replace the front half of my exhaust system, which I've been procrastinating on, and now I'm done with this garbage for two years!!
