Looks like I need to replace the battery in my Westfalia. I've had no trouble with the existing Die Hard and am considering using the same battery. The battery has been in the bus since I bought it four years ago and I don't know how old it was then. It is a little sluggish on the starts. My bus also has been sitting for most of the winters since I have owned it as I only use it in the Summers. The indicatpor light in the kitchen shows yellow even after the bus has been run for a while. And the cranking is a bit slow. Now I'll have it checked, but I'm guessing it's time. Also, I run only one battery in the Camper, I haven't gotten to the dual battery upgrade yet. But I don't use much of the bus's battery when I'm camping with the exception of powering the fresh water pump. Any suggestions or experiences will be appreciated. TIA Jeff 83.5 Wesy NYC |
