My question is: How does one muster the effrontery to tell a dealer to remove a part after he has held up his end of the bargain in repairing the van? Moreover, one has to be delusional to expect any dealer to agree to such a thing. Once he mounts that part on your pride-and-joy, it ceases being HIS part and becomes YOUR part and a USED part.

For what it is worth, dealing with others in good faith will usually be to your advantage as long as they are not asking you to bender over to pick up a bar of soap in the shower room. Rich
