They are, by a wide measure, the harshest C range tires I have tried. They get loose on wet roads and are useless at even the hint of snow; this on a Syncro, too.

Stick with the sizes listed for tires on the tire inflation sticker for your van. Just like others who have done such things, the engineers at VW might have put some thought into it before they ordered the stickers. Rich
