Subject: Plastic coating (semi-Vanagon content)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I'm working on a project for my Vanagon that involves placing a metal bracket on the rain gutter. Since this is a metal to paint contact I want to protect the paint. Years ago I saw an ad somewhere for a product that you could coat metal with a plastic coating, much like the plastic coating found on a pair of pliers or the roof mounts on a Thule rack system. The ad had a picture of someone dipping the handle of some pliers into a can of this stuff. Anyone ever seen this stuff, know what it's called, or know where I can get some?
