Photos look great. It looks like it was a great time. Was the turkeys in the last photo the turkeys you et? ;)

If you haven't checked out the photos it's worth a trip to Karl's website. Some interesting busses showed up. Looks like a Volvo converted to a loaf bus, a Corvair van with a Westy side tent (Don't tell Ralph Nader), and I am still jealous of the jalousie window converted Vanagons. There's a nice two tone brown Vanagon with the jalousie windows--In the rain I'll bet that is the coolest Vanagon in the site. (Unless Karl has his window mounted A/C going). I also like the three window canvas on the same bus.

Do those who have the 3 window canvas find them better than the one window. It seems standing at the sink and watching the approaching bear through the canvas side window would be cool. (See, those of you without the side window in the canvas didn't even know there was a bear.) And are the jalousies worth the swap?

I miss the event every year because of work. For those who are heading to Stokes State Forest later in the season I recommend the hike from Buttermilk Falls up to the Appalacian Trail. There's a nice over look up there. You have to drive from the campground at Stokes to the Falls --there's no overnight camping allowed at the base of the falls. You know the east is pretty crowded so I like to keep some hikes secret from the general public. But I have no secrets from fellow listees. (In fact since we have no secrets; sometimes I put on me Mum's dress and sing).

Thanks for the photos. I'm kidding about the dress.
