Hello everyone

I'm putting 1.8 GTI motor in my Bus but forgot to get the part # off the
diesel clutch disc when I pulled the parts off the diesel Bus for conversion
and I don't recall the year of the Bus.  Anyone know the part # ?  Are all
the discs the same for the diesel?  Another question is how far back can I
order part for my Bus by body style?  I have an 85 vanagon.  I replace my
windshield and took the glass from an air cooled Bus.  It looked basically
the same as my body style which is the 85 vanagon with waterboxxer-dripper.
I don't always find parts for my year. I'm station in Germany and use
catalogs and the Internet to place orders mostly.  Thanks Fergy
