IMHObservation, spring clamps maintain a constant sealing force that self-adjusts for eventual rubber shrinkage, movement, etc; + they can't be overtightened (if sized properly), and provide full circle sealing. *Most* screw type hose clamps are over tightened upon initial installation, then aren't checked on a regular basis & re-snugged. There are full circle contact screw clamps available, & more rare still screw clamps that have a spring under the screw to maintain tension.
