It doesn't lift out, it slides.

Open the side sliding door and remove the metal door jam trim on the floor that holds the carpet down. Then carefully lift the carpet and roll it back and away from under the seat until it is clear of the seat. Then lift out the foam floor panels between the seat and the door. Finally, slide the seat out on its track towards the door. It's pretty heavy, so be careful.
