Subject: Mysterious blemish in drivers door panel - the cause explained!
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Like many of you, my Westy has a small blemish in the door panel right next to where the driver's left armrest attaches to the seat. I have always figured it was caused by abrasion from the close clearance of the seat belt at that spot. When I pulled my door panel yesterday, I found that the fiber board backing was punched in behind the blemish! It looks like the PO must have slammed the door shut on the seat belt tongue a few times, trapping it between the door panel and the arm rest. Do all of you with Westies have the same disfigurement? It almost makes me want to come up with a better retention mechanism for the seat belt... Any good repair ideas?
