Sorry if I am violating any protocol, but here goes..

last nite I got a call. A friend of a friend has a '87 vanagon, ith the weekender option (fold down back seat, NOT a camper).

It has bad heads. Needs to get rid of it.

I think is is mobile; runs sort of. Probably a decent body. wner thought it was worth $1000, but will probably let it go for $150, the value of a tax write off.

Antone out there in the Northern VA interested in pulling this Vanagon apart fot the parts?? I would like the tires and dash, for the speedometer.

I have a garage at my home, and can get it towed away for another $50. Total cost to split is about $200.

Gotta go now. Movie time with my 14 year old daughter. Oh, yes, the wife is also invited.
