Mine wouldn't work either - so I opened up the hatch, and lo and behold, the ground connector had come loose.

However, I assume you already checked this properly when you tested the winding.

Someone recently described how to do this motor swap - within the last couple of weeks.

Search the archives for the past month on wiper motor, or something similar. Then, if nothing else, you'll find out who the motor guru is, and then you can ask him.

Somehow, I think it's that chap who works for Apple Computers, who recently moved to Ireland. Can't remember his name - but then, I can't remember the sixties, either.
