Ron, Forget a digital cell phone. My understanding is that computers only work with analogue cell phones. Even if that has changed the digital transmissions are mostly only around the cities.... not where I would usually camp.

In order to find a connecting cable for a computer to a cell phone, call the cell phone manufacturer and they will have a list of/ sell you a cord that will attach to a few select cell phones. I bought the cord from Dell and then bought the cell phone to fit the cord. I run my lap top with a the cheapest analogue cell phone I could find that would fit the cord... works good for email.. but expensive... forget the web... too slow... you'll get timed out before you can download even one page... and get charged a buck or two per minute for nothing.

Bill
