I have used acoustic coupler... it was a real PITA! A lot of trouble to get it to work... when it would work

also, for quick checks you can usually talk the > camp host into allowing you to plug in to their phone and use your > nationwide ISP local access #...(or 800 if you are in the real boonies)

There are web sites that list campgounds by area along with a list of their amenities... including web access! Unfortunately, I would expect to find that the sites with internet access are likely the RV camp sites.... but maybe not always.
