When you have part numbers at least.

I just saved myself all kinds of $$$ getting parts for my Scirocco (yes, non-vanagon).

New axle stubs - 30$ ea cheaper than the cheapest non-v'gon vendor New Steering rack - 400$ cheaper than dealer (I called) and $50 cheaper than cheapest non-v'gon vendor

I know a lot of you are dual VW drivers, so when you need parts for your old rabbit or jetta, do a part number search on Busdepot.com first

My shameless plug

Oh - and in vanagon news - those things fit anywhere, my dog loves camping, and bacon grease is a bitch to get out of the carpet, unless you have a dog.

Have a good memorial day - spare a second to thank a vet. It's not all camping and barbecues.
