Subject: Best shocks for an Adventurewagen
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hello list: Just gettin acquainted with my 87 AW, and I noticed some fairly sever bottoming out when going over speed bumps and train tracks, especially on the downstroke/ rebound side. Feels like the front suspension is banging the bumpers pretty good. What shocks does everyone like for their westy or heavy vanagon? KYB makes a good product that I have used on Volvos, Toyotas, and split window busses. Any opinions? Also, is there any mystery to this job or is it pretty straight forward. I have a Bentley, but have not consulted it yet. Thanks, DAR
