From one of the posts to the list, I took a suggestion and replaced my Vanagon washer jets ('88) with stock VW bug ones. They are much shorter which I'm sure allows for less wind resistance and a higher top speed. <g> Good news: They fit and you get two jets per washer Bad News: I was unable to adjust the angle to hit the windshield. If I go fast enough, the wind will bend the streams to the windshield - but when standing still the outside jets go over the van. So, unless you want to wash the windshields of neighboring cars or use pedestrians as targets, I'd approach this modification with caution.
