I have not seen any of their 2.0 air cooled motors but I don't think much of any of the others. I have seen at least 4 dead Vanagons whose engines had the VW Canada rebuild stickers. Waterboxers and diesels, all low miles after rebuild according to the sad sellers, one broken camshaft, 2 thrown rods, one seized due to frozen oil pump shaft. I now deduct from any price I am willing to pay for a running one when I see one of those stickers. Maybe it is all coincidence but where there is smoke I expect fire and act accordingly. Now you can expect to hear from all of the happy owners of VW Canada engines. Mark Sean Garrett wrote: > > I have the oppurtunity to cut some of my cost in my restoration of my 1980 > Westy.
