I just got a new load of the S&S Header exhaust system for the 2.1l Vanagon
(fits 2wd and Syncro).  These systems are $280 plus shipping and includes all
gaskets and the entire exhaust system except the catalytic convertor.  The
system is supposed to boost your horsepower a bit but it is a decent system
and much cheaper than the stock system (especially the syncro system).  If
