Subject: Parts CD - Help!
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Hello listers: I am very close to getting Dominique's CD up and running, but I need to ask for some help. I got through the 8 hour download and I have used winimage to access the downloaded files. At the installation I am stuck. I double-click on the epcsetup application, the installer launches, I go through a few questions about German or English, hard drive or CD etc, but when the installation is begnning, during the "INI check", I get an error message "c:\VWCD\epc_root\Filesort.exe could not be opened". I get this every time, and the setup quits. The file in question iscertainly there, as are hundreds of others (400 + MB). It doesn't matter if I am installing to or from the HD or CD. I read all of Dominique's instructions as well as all of the posts in the archive of problems/solutions, but I don't see anything about this stage. Please help if you can - I am so close.

Thanks in advance. Alan. '00 HP PC Windows 98 '87 Syncro Westfalia
