Ahhhh, did you own my van before I did? I don't like the manual switch
as I suspect that is why the rebuild on this motor only lasted 15,000
miles before the dreaded compression in the coolant reared it's ugly
head. Someone probably forgot to turn the fan back on after getting off
the highway. Of course this is why I got the van for only 500 bucks too.

I keep it running most of the time, I have bought and installed the new
thermosensor fan switch, but haven't gotten aound to figuring out how
they miswired it. I suggest you buy a new thermoswitch from a list
vendor, they are not that expensive, and do it correctly.
