Subject: Propane regulator
Content-Type: Text/Plain; Charset=US-ASCII

In checking out my equipment for upcoming trip I turned on the at the gas, which had been off several months,at the tank.

Stove & refrig work fine but I noticed a smell of gas after all was turned off. It is coming from a small hole towards the input end of the regulator on the front side and above and slightly left of center of the knob shaped casting of the regulator body.

I am in Fla and it is now quite hot. Could this be a popoff device and gas resulting from an overfill? I think it was cool weather when I last had tank topped off.

If so should I just let it bleed down? Other ideas?

Thanks, Harry Patrick
