Subject: Attaching lower grille
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi all,

The lower grille to my '84 Westy was taken off by the PO when it was shipped from Florida to Minnesota. I ordered grille clips from the Bus Depot, assuming this was how I was to attach it, but they didn't seem to do anything- holes in the grille are way too big for the clips.

I called the Bus Depot about this today and the nice guy helping me said to try and screw them on. I don't know how this would work, since there is nothing to screw them into, and I couldn't get my arm up in there to put a nut on the other side of the hole. It does look like there was some sort of adhesive holding it on before, as I can see some sort of residue on the van in a rectangular shape.

So how should I attach this grille? I am sick of my van looking ghetto with out the lower grille (one without the headlights) and I am getting ready to go from Minnesota to Colorado in about two weeks, so I'd really love to have the grille on for that, not to mention having my van run which it currently does not :(

Thanks for any help!
