I had the same problem after making my conversion this weekend, but I was
able to get the nozzles to cover the windshield fairly well (and fairly
easily).  Yes, of course they little metal "jets" can be adjusted, but
alas, they are not designed to adjust far enough.  You end up spraying
into the housing and splattering washer fluid all over the place.
Actually the passenger side seemed to work better - can't explain why.  i
got the driver's side to work OK by carving a bit of the plastic housing
away with an exacto knife.  Now it works, but I'm not confident that the
metal jets will stay in place.  That plastic is there for a reason, right

As Todd wrote, proceed with caution if you're considering this conversion.
