I went to the one in 98 and for what I wanted to do, it was fun. I wanted to see all the different VW's and how other's modified them. I remember seeing a White Vanagon Crewcab with a 911 engine I believe. Of course lots of air cooled VW's and a good number water cooled VW's (Vanagons included of course). And if the weather is as good as it's been the last few days, it should be a scorcher at Irvine Meadows. By the way, Saturday the 10th, there's a VW Toy show at a nearby hotel in Irvine too. Just go to http://www.vwclassic.com for more information.

I intended to go but have never been there before.
