I am trying to trouble-shoot my running-rich issue. I checked the fuel pressure regulator per Bentley and here is what i got @idle: the spec is 28 w/ vac hose connected and 36 w/o connected. I got 32-34 w/ vac hose and 38 w/o hose connected. I see these values are high, but only by a few psi- are these value too high? And would they be the culprit to my rich running problem? A new pressure regulator is $70 and i would like not to just throw $ at the potential problem. I suppose i should get a 'second opinion' by riggin' together another pressure reader. I have also been checking all vacuum lines. One thing i noticed is that there is some oil coming out of the hose coming from the verticle black breather pipe thing. Is that uncommon?
