Any EVers out there that have experienced the dreaded Radiator Fan Resistor problems? I noticed today while idling that the temp gauge started rising much higher than normal. Wife said it did so the other day also. At highway speeds all is fine. I got out and checked at idle while the temp was high and noticed the radiator fans were not running. I suspect the resistors, even though they were changed at about 65k miles (we are at 127k now.) However, the dealer changed them last time and I'm not sure where they are located. Can someone describe where they are? Anything else I should check? Thanks. Maynard '82 Westy Diesel "Reinhardt" '93 EV GL "Klinger" '00 Golf GLS TDI "WooHoo" '84 Jetta GL TD |
