>Speaking of bears, went to Yellowstone a couple weeks >ago...nevermind the geysers, elk, and bears...check >out the VANAGONS!! Seemed there were Vanagons round >almost every bend and in every parking lot. Most in >great shape, too. Plus a couple beautiful splitties. I was in Yellowstone over the Memorial Day holiday, plus a few. I saw quite a few vanagons and busses as well. Mine is a plain yellow (mustard?) 81 Transporter. I beeped and/or waved to all I saw, but I was bummed to note that the few Vanagon Westies that passed didn't return the wave. My children figure that Westie owners only wave to other westies as a matter of standing :-) Hmmmmm.... Hope you had a great time. We camped and it rained every night. However, I always throw in a night or to in a motel at the end so I get a break <g> Regards from Utah, John
