There is a vee-notch in the inner ring of the crank pulley -- line that up with the parting line of the case. If the notch is missing, which it could be if the pulley is a replacement, on the second ring of the pulley is a more rounded notch which is at TDC -- you'll have to make the relevant translation either by mechanical means or by using a timing light with a timing adjustment on it. david At 15:39 6/13/2000, Larry L.
