Look closely at the plug housing surrounding the other plug. You'll see two ears something like this (pretending that you're looking into the end of the plug): [( )] Squeeze those ears firmly (really firmly) together and it will cause the housing to flex and disengage from a couple of lugs on the mating part. Then you can wiggle them apart rather easily. If you need to examine both parts more closely, just take the box off the wall and look at it -- the plugs on it are exact duplicates of the pair that are plugged together.

You'll find (once you have the knack) that everything is easy *except* removing the inner plug from the stabilizer box, where you have to squeeze the stationary sleeve while wiggling the inner plug to remove it.
