The relay supplied with the kit is Helly PN 003 510-36 It has an integral
fuseholder and is supplied with a 15a fuse,
so my guess is that it is probably a 15a relay?
The wires supplied with the kit are slightly larger that the standard VW
accessory wiring. None is an 8 gauge wire.
I'm guessing in the range of 14-16 gauge.
