If you missed my reply earlier - here is the lowdown.
If you don't have the time / patience / hardware or
knowlege to download it, I can make you a copy for a
small fee.
I figure $8 to cover CD-R, shipping & packaging and
the time my computer will be tied up making it. $8.50
usd for airmail to Canada.
What you'll get - CD, Jewel Case, jacket with
instructions.
What you need to know -
You need 1280x1024 resolution capability.
Not all vehicles have comlete info, due to retirement
of parts/models by VW. For instance, VW Scirocco info
is unavailable from 1974-1983. However, 1956 Beetle
info is almost complete. Due to the hybrid/inbreeding
of VW and Audi, you can usually find the parts you are
looking for though.
There is no rubber-stock info that I could find. No
hatch/door or window seals. Very little info on trim.
Mechanical info is almost totally complete, tho. I
have saved over $150 in the 2 weeks I have had the CD
by being able to search by part number, and not rely
on the vendors knowlege. BTW - Camelback VW ROCKS for
dealer only prices!
This is a grey market item. Due to legality issues, I
am not selling these, I am giving them away
essentially for cost. (I make about 2$ for my time)
What you get - Version 5.3
Up to date parts information on all VW & Audi from
1956 to 2001.
Exploded diagrams of every section of your VW with
parts numbers.
The second best reference (after Bentley) that I have
found. If you have both, it makes a world of
difference.
I also included the .iso file, a copy of WinImage and
the latest shareware version of WinZip (8.2) on the CD
so if it ever dies on you, you have the tools to
make a new copy.
