Subject: [NON-VANAGON] - Gas prices in Ontario - $1.00/ liter??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The kids and I planned to fahrfahrgnug from here in central Ohio to Algonquin Provincial Park next week for an early summer camping and fishing trip. While travelling home from work late last night, I picked up a radio talk show from Cleveland (good reception). The radio personality was lamenting the high prices of gas in northern Ohio ($1.70 average for regular) and stating it could be worse - $2.70 in Toronto this week (in U.S. dollars).

Could one of our Canadian list members confirm? I'm hoping that the radio personality didn't do the math right. I figure it would roughly mean that gas is selling at over $1.05 CAN$ per liter. For the sake of a 1200 mile round trip and 16-18 mpg tops in the Westy - tell me it ain't so!

Thanks for any updates.
