Subject: Parking lights + ignition switch = flat battery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Is there a (simple?) way to rewire the parking lights so they go off when the ignition is turned off? I just got a flat battery because I left my parking lights on. This is really annoying particularly since its only a couple of months since my theft alarm left me with a flat battery. I am not looking forward to getting the battery out yet again. My Toyota sounds an alarm when you open the door and the parking lights are left on - no such intellegence built into the Vanagon.
