I to have a rebuilt from Boston Bob. I found that the mileage was initially about 16-17 mpg. After about 1500 miles and readjusting the injector, mileage was normal. With a new or rebuilt engine, the air-fuel mixture will be different and the injectors will need to be adjusted.

Mine boston engine has only 2000 miles and when it first starts after sitting for a couple of days it smokes badly for a couple of minutes. I haven't figured this one out yet.
