It's interesting looking at the variation. My '87 Westy only lists two choices -

185R14C/6PR 39 psi Front, 48 psi Rear 205/70R14 97R (reinforced): 30 psi front; 40 psi rear

I am running an in between size, 195R14 C 103R at 39 front, 45 rear. It is, as Joel says, a matter of intelligently adjusting based on what feels good for that particular tire. Les Schwab, the chain I bought my Kumho 852s at, filled them all to 35 psi, which felt too loose.

For my 90 Syncro Westy the door sticker reads:

185R14C/6PR/8PR: 43 psi front; 48 psi rear 205R14C/6PR/8PR: 36 psi front; 43 psi rear 205/70R14(reinforced): 36 psi front; 40 psi rear
