My wife and I are planning a 6 week long trip this summer.  We are going out
west, first to the Banff area in Canada, then we plan to go further west
over to Vancouver, Seattle, go up to Mt. olympia, then down South to stay at
a Redwood forest, San Francisco, over to Las Vegas (only driving through
during the night, just to see the lights!!) over to the Hoover Dam, Grand
Canyon, Colorado Rocky Mtns and Visit some family, the Badlands to hook up
with more family, then home.

If anybody has any ideas about places to see, or stay please let me know.
P-mail me if the rest of the list does not want trip planning info
cluttering up the list.

I am wondering about Mt. Olympia Natl park, my search on the net showed that
there was only one gas station located in the park, and it is on the coast
side of the park.  I assume this won't be a problem, but any input would be
great.

Ideas about reservations at any of the places listed would also be a great
help, or are they mostly first come first serve like the campgrounds in the
banff area.

We will leave from Minnesota some time in the middle of July, and we hope
all the bugs will be detected with the new rebuilt engine by then.

Thanks for the input about the gas mileage, we hope that soon we will see
the mileage pick up as it breaks in further.
