Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Question: A bought an 87 Westy a year ago. There is no water level detector in the tank (drinking water tank), but there are LEDs below the range that are supposed to indicate the water level. Did VW ship Westys without the detectors? The detector is supposed to be mounted on the water tank screw top as far as I can tell from the manual. The screw top in my van looks like it is OEM. Any thoughts? Thank you.

John
