My guess... The Air Flow meter went south. I was suprised when I fergot to plug my 83's meter in to the harnes that it would just still run. Not very well and it would die a lot. Finally would not start again after three or four tries. Fortunately right in the parking lot of my duplex. Walked over, looked at the 81, it was very apparent. Pluged in the Air Flow Unit and away she went!

BTW - Rt 12 is one beautiful highway. Crossed over from the Bitteroot to McCall in a 9000Turbo. Crusin' at it's best.
