Subject:      Long.... summer trip in the US... any good touristic or other
              advice?

Hi everyone!
At the end of this month, i am leaving for a 3 months trip in the USA.
I am French Canadian from Quebec and I leave from Montreal and go straight
ahead to Houston, TX to get my girlfriend and start the real trip. From
there, I am planning to go to Florida, come back by the southern states all
the way to California, west coast, deserts, Las Vegas, visit some big towns
(Washington DC, New-York) Well as you can see, i am going for a long
visit...
Some of you have any advice about nice places to visit, nice roads to use,
places to camp or stay when tired of my nice vehicle, places or events where
i can meet other westy nuts, reliable places to go if my vehicle needed some
repair... Any informations you can send me would very appreciated!!! :)))
Even maintenance tips on my vehicle...
I am gathering all the informations i can to make my trip as nice as
possible...
