Subject: Re: Radiator Fan

Ummmmmm... this is good. It means that the sensors in both the thermostat and in the radiator are working correctly and have been properly designed to give you maximum feedback and control over your cooling system. When someone wrote the other day that they thought every car should have needle deflection going up a mountain in Arizona in the middle of the summer, I had to dissagree. A properly designed cooling system will put the normal extremes well within the control circuit of the cooling system. What you are to fear is that the fan will NOT go on and you will be sitting there in a race condition where the system cannot get back the control once the variables have exceeded their normal bounds.

Just my opinion, tim o'brien
