John, I can't imagine a Westy with a water tank and LED's to indicate water level coming new without a water level sensor.... what would be the sense in that?

It is a fairl common problem for the detectors and or LEDs to go out... both of mine did because I was mucking around with the electrical system without pulling a fuse or disconnecting the batter... a simple short sent a power surge and blew them both out. A ruff value new is about $50 or $80 for the water level sensor and about $170 for an LED panel... I don't know that both of yours are out and neither will you until you wire up a new water level sensor.

Sources for both: 1 Ask the list. 2 Junk yard. 3 Euro-American (original supplier to VW): 423-908-9384 4 Also... if the LED panel is out perhaps you can get David Beierl to fix it for you for less than buying one.

Good Luck Bill
