Subject: Fuel Hose?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Today I received an order from a list vendor and I am not sure if got the correct fuel hoses. There were four hose types ordered:

5mm fuel hose (fabric covered) 7mm fuel hose (reinforced rubber)

3.5mm vacuum hose (fabric covered) 12mm vacuum hose (fabric covered)

The 5mm hose was supposed to connect to the small end of the square plastic fuel filter. The 7mm hose was supposed to connect to the large end of the square plastic fuel filter.

Neither of the above two fuel hoses as described. However the larger 7mm one fits the small front hose barb nicely. Also the 12mm "vacuum" hose fits snuggly over the larger rear filter barb.

Does someone here know the correct specs for those two fuel hoses? Also does fabric covering alone constitute proper reinforcement for fuel lines, or is interior reinforcement required?
