All, I have a 1985 GL, 8 passenger Vanagon. There is a 1987(?) Vanagon Wolfsburg Edition at my parts store that has power mirrors on it. My parts guy bought it to part out. It fell victim (very unfortunately) to a fuel line leak or other that burned the engine bay and the back to "beyond recognition" status. He offered the mirrors to me. A couple of questions, will they mount to my vehicle? (I assume so...), can they be and how much work would it be to put them in my vehicle hooked up and fully operational? (provided they work now) and will they stay where I put them if they have no power going to them? Thank you.
